ABOUT
“Diversity Kids” is a fantastic animated “edutainment” series for kids, which aims to inspire, motivate and support kids and their advocates to overcome adversity in a multicultural world with confidence, love, understanding and empathy for all.
In each episode and season, the series focuses on a group of seven funny, charismatic and passionate “Diversity Kids” (DKs), who all come from different ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds.
Alongside our seven incredible DKs is a long list of fantastic celebrity characters, who make several guest appearances in each season as younger versions of themselves. They are either from the neighborhood or another class, and are tackling issues frequently experienced by kids. Our DKs leap into action to help their friends deal with, understand and solve each issue.
WHO
Oscar, Nadia, Timmy, Sophia, Sam, Penny and Paulo all go to the same school. Together, they experience, tackle and overcome real-life situations, including bullying, discrimination, poverty, homelessness, climate change and racism. They triumph over adversity through the (super)powers of positivity, friendship, kindness, love and empathy.
Each Diversity Kid has their own passions, dreams and career goals. These school students have hobbies and interests ranging from architecture, humanitarianism and app development to the law, entrepreneurship and fashion design – and many more!
With these positive images and career goals the series teaches all kids, at a very young age, that everything is possible in life; that, no matter what your ethnic, cultural or religious background, you can become anything you dream of, if you are willing to put in the work
WHY
We know that children are the future and that, in a world consumed with social media and so many different adult opinions on so many issues, it’s very easy for a child to be influenced by negative views, information and insecurities, which they can internalize and carry with them into adulthood.
“Diversity Kids” combats these possible threats by allowing kids to learn the (super)powers of positivity, friendship, kindness, love, and empathy from kids from all walks of life, who look, sound and live just like them.
With this series, we want to enable children all around the world to understand that, by working together, they can achieve all they desire; supporting each other is an essential element in our storylines.
